Little Lag Screwing Champ Select

My internet is being slightly laggy today, so I decided to just do a bot match for my win of the day. I go into champ select, and the champions don't pop up so I can't pick one and I can't mess with my masteries.

Timer runs out, I get a penalty because your game doesn't know how to operate without perfect internet, so I have to wait the penalty timer out.

I try again, same thing. Champion's don't pop up so I can't pick any AGAIN and I can't mess with my masteries.

The old client was outdated, but at least it let people with a little lag play the game.
