Pyke getting 2 cuts from his own kills

Noticed something weird with Pyke and have been trying to replicate it. The money from the R just didn't seem right in some situations - especially when I thought I got the assist. Heard the "here's your cut" and the money didn't go up. (Since then I've tried to replicate it a few times in game, but it is hard to catch.)

I finally managed to recreate the situation which I thought was happening. If the person who should have got the "Cut" from the kill has a full inventory, then the "Cut" falls back to Pyke (and he can get money from both "cuts"). It does not go to the assisting player. Take a look at the above game. Here's the situation - I had used my Malzahar ult to lockdown and kill the champ. Pyke being the champion (and player) that he is decided to get one extra kill and he decided to use his ult on my ult. The consequence? Take a close look at his inventory.
