Shop bug on Treeline

I was playing Ezreal and i backed with like 2k gold to buy a . I already had a in my inventory and when I right clicked the cutlass in the shop, it bought me a whole new one instead of upgrading the scepter. Not sure if this is intended behavior.

Also Ezreal's recommended items include even tho it's melee only. Of course Riot probably forgot 3s existed which is why they haven't changed anything with it in ages. Even the change to cannon minion gold was only on the rift and not affected in 3s.
