Nonexistent update appearing bug

When i turn the client on i have very short time to log in until it restarts. When i log in a update note appears all the time, saying that i need to restart the client to allow the update to do its thing. If i restart the client it only keeps restarting indefinitely, and no patch happens. i can only use that window of maybe 5 seconds to enter my info and log in to prevent restart but ill have the update note again
