Taliyah's W is utterly broken for "Quick Cast with Indicator" players.

So, I play with Quick Cast with Indicator, and Taliyah's W is the wonkiest, most counter intuitive thing I've ever seen in LoL. Quick Cast with Indicator means you hold the key down, align or aim your power, and then when you release the key, the power activates. So, basically, every bit of timing and aim in my world revolves around that released key.

And along comes Taliyah, with her horribly, horribly broken W. It should work just like Victor's Laser. Press, drag, release, activate. If you don't want to drag for a direction, you don't have to. Taliyah's W could still be used to pop people straight up if it worked like Victor's Q.

But no. Instead, it's this INSANELY CLUNKY press, release, drag, press, activate. It defies the entire core concept of Quick Cast with Indicator. Now you've got ONE power, in all of LoL, that activates on a press instead of a release. I really can't believe this made it off of PBE. Taliyah is virtually unplayable for me because of it. I get killed almost every time I use the W, because I have to fumble through the world's most awkward casting procedure while people are trying to kill me. At best, the W happens, but nowhere near where I am trying to put it, because the way it works is the polar opposite of every bit of internal wiring I have ever had for League. (Or any moba for that matter, I play HotS and Supernova with the same quick cast on release system, which really makes Taliyah's W the one power that works wrong with my interface in this entire genre of games, not just LoL.)

I could contact customer service and I'm sure they'd refund my 7800 IP, but I don't want a refund. I want her to work right. She's such a cool design. I could not love the rock surfing any more than I do. She's got a huge nose and crazy wizard eyebrows, just like me in RL! She'd instantly be one of my five favorite LoL champions if you guys would just fix that crippling W. Please.

I don't really understand how it's a broken move. Could you possibly explain why you'd use such a strong term? :o

I admit, it's annoying as heck to be hit by, but isn't it also fairly easy to dodge? o.o

Honestly, I could never get Viktor's Laser or Rumble's Ultimate to work with the Indicator, which is what drove me to full Quick Cast.

Now that it has been "fixed" its impossible for me to use because I have gotten use to double tapping the "w" key when on QuickCast. Now what happens when you double tap is that it disappears completely...it cancels the skill and then you ultimately die. Guess I'm putting Taliyah up until I can re-practice using the "w" so it doesn't cancel as a whole.
