Kench of the Lanes

So, Ive been playing alot of tahm kench, but not as the support that he's been said to be, but as the toplaner he was intended, with occasional forrays into the jungle. Here is the thing. It says ive been playing Tahm jungle or SUPPORT. Could I get some rioter down here to explain why even though im going to a solo lane, its marking me as playing him support?
