Morde Ghost Can't Attack Nexus

I was playing URF and I've only been in this situation once so I don't know if it always happens. I was Morde and I had an Ezreal ghost, I was clicking the enemy Nexus with R but the Ez ghost just kept running around the Nexus like it was trying to path into the Nexus.
