ZZ Rot interaction with Strength of Ages Keystone

When using a ZZ Rot, if the minion kills a tank minion it does not grant the stack for strength of ages even though it grants the kill gold. Fix plz?

this would be broken due to the fact you could be anywhere on the map when they kill the cannon minion. I would say if you were within a certain range of the zzrot minion when it kills it, and also only to the owner of the zzrot itself may be a possibility but even that I doubt they will bother adding that much coding for that.

I also thought this.. but it's already in the code - you can gain a stack for being within range when a team mate kills a jungle camp or tank minion. So the range indication is already there. The issue is you can be standing beside the tank minion when it goes down but if the ZZ'Rot minion kills it you get no stack.

fair enough I would agree that if you are in range it should add to you if you are the owner of the ZZrot itself. As long as it doesn't add to non owners.

Seems consistent to the wording of Strength of Ages to me?

"Siege minions and large monsters that you or nearby allied champions kill grant..."

ZZ'rot minions grant gold to the portal owner when they last hit a minion, but don't count as a champion?

That's one way of looking at it however ZZ-Rot is an active ability much like the active of Ravenous Hydra and if you kill a tank minion with it you are granted the stack. If you are within range you should get the stack from ZZ-Rot

The difference between the two that I think should be emphasized is that Zz-rot is fairly removed from a champion/player actively killing a cannon minion. Hydra on the other hand is very close to being a additional ability that the champion has.

All of the keystones seem to focus on the player/champion participating in some action(s) to make use of the power that those keystones offer. If Zz'rot had the interaction with SoA that is being discussed here than that goes against that emphasis and is basically free passive power, even if it is a limited scenario.

I guess my opinion on the matter falls to that I feel the extra power, while small, that a change like this would add is unnecessary you might as well go over and make sure to last hit that cannon minion yourself if you value that stack. (instead of hoping that a uncontrollable void spawn will maybe kill it for you)
