board post reply
I hit reply to a post, and it brings up quote, even when I delete the quote it creates a new post instead of being a reply that is below and connected to the post.

What comment are you talking about.
Sounds like you're in Chronological View rather than Discussion View (General Discussion only allows Chrono).
