I'm currently experiencing a ping of 130-140, fluctuating, whereas I sit at about 50 on a normal day. No other game has this issue, I've reset my modem and filtered all other devices off of the network. Friend on the same network is having the same issue. Thoughts?
Looking at the ticker, I can see this started just about when the maintenance to account transfers started. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
yup also getting high ping right now, started about an hour ago. Getting 160-170 when i usually have 70. I did a winMTR traceroute and it shows that the lag is most likely on Riot's end
I spoke with Riot's support chat team and it seems like this is a CenturyLink node issue, at least for me.
CenturyLink here too, and ping has gone from 30 on average to 120.
Having the same issue. I'm glad I'm not going crazy. I've tried everything to fix it.
CenturyLink user in MN. Same issue. Normally at 33 and sat at around 80-140 all night last night. Not only that but I felt some frame drop. Lost a ranked game off it. Very frustrating. Also completely league specific. All other games and ping fine. Hopefully this is fixed when I get home from work tonight :). Haven't tried in past 14 hours.
Having little lags spikes over game of Summoner Rift often. I do not have the same lags when playing Twisted Tree line (although I don't play it as much) and on aram (playing it every day but no lags there). Lagging especially when I see an enemy champion on my screen doing stuff. Little lags killing me o putting me in some shitty situations where I'm getting caught and losing life or summoners. This started month ago and never stopped. Every game of SR have this lags.

I've been getting massive ping spikes only to League as well. Tried everything and it still only affects League. I actually get more ping spikes when Gangplank is in the game. Happens a lot on ARAM if he does a barrel combo
