tried to connect to blind pick game and couldnt pick

i tried to connect to a blind pick game today and upon entrance to the lobby, i could see the lobby for a brief second before it just went black. I couldn't see chat or champions, couldn't a champion or anything, just got returned to the home screen after about a minute with the message that i didn't pick a champion as you can see in the picture
