but only proc Aery on allies. it won't proc aery on enemies. i assume it won't get tower aggro because it doesn't also proc aery because of riot thinking i guess, but like the description isn't helpful.

It says it right in the description of "Summon Aery", I also assume you mean Zilean's E (the speed boost / slow)

PASSIVE: **Damaging **an enemy champion signals Aery to dash to them, dealing 10 − 40 (based on level) (+ 15% bonus AD) (+ 10% AP) Attack damageAbility power Adaptive damage.

Zilean's E doesn't do damage.

Healing, shielding or **buffing ** an ally signals Aery to dash to them, shielding them for 35 − 80 (based on level) (+ 40% bonus AD) (+ 25% AP) for 2 seconds.

Zilean's E is classified as a buff which is why it applies Aery.

Not really misleading at all.

Ezreal's old W applied Summon Aery on allies too, since it gave an attack speed buff. I imagine Nunu's passive applies it, but he cant blood boil allies without auto attacking so Im not sure how the priority here works.

Havne't played Lulu in a while, Whimsy I assume applies Aery to allies, but not enemies? (Speed+Aspd buff/Polymorph based on target.)

Attack Prioritization

Turrets will continue to attack their current target until the target dies, leaves attack range, or becomes untargetable due to abilities or items.

A turret will prioritize an enemy champion if that champion deals damage to an allied champion who is within 1400 range of the turret. Damage dealt can come from any source (pet, aura, item, etc.) in order for a champion to be targeted. Additionally, turrets will target an enemy champion if no other valid target is within range. Turrets will not attack an enemy champion who uses a non-damaging spell (e.g. Karthus' Wall of Pain). A spell or attack that is blocked (by a spell shield or ability effect) and deals no damage will still draw turret aggro.
