I'd say in at least half my games lately, maybe more, I have had to kill my game client and then reconnect when the game is starting. I see the "League of Legends" logo, but then the character screen with the 10 portraits never comes up. It just stays "League of Legends" -- so I kill it, then in the launcher client, I click reconnect and it loads fine.
6.23 patch was fine no probs. 6.24 patch on the other hand, first game loads fine. After that gotta reconnect.
I made a post on something pretty much like this too. It's been happening more & more frequently on me now & I have to do it as fast as I can so I dont get behind in-game. :l hope they figure the issue out soon, it's a real pain especially when your recording.
ikr this bug is fucking dumb
The first game always works correctly then any game after that have to kill the loading screen and wait for main to say reconnect or I can wait till it times out and hit cancel and then main page will go from game in progress to reconnect. Since latest patch.
Dang dude nice, only half? I have to do it virtually every game and my friends all do too. Judging by the number of people on both teams that don't connect to the loading screen immediately, i'd say 2/3 have it happen each game
yup, about a third of all my games since the last patch have done this.
Every other game without fail my client crashes and does this. WIthout fail. You are not the only one, beta client is having serious issues that Riot is not speaking about, and is refusing to tell us why this is happening even though its been happening since the Open beta release.
