Malphite W Bugged

Currently, Malphite W has a cast time, causing you to be unable to get as many uses out of it. Before the update it had no cast time, and also, now, if you time the ability correctly, right before you command an auto attack, he swings upwards it seems, applying the attack instantly. It is really wierd, and I found it out because of a Shiv Proccing (His W damage crits). I will try and get a video/ reproduce it when I get home. Has anyone else experienced these?
