Garen Ultimate Bug

Just played a match as Garen where the enemy team had an Akali. I went to use my Ultimate on her when she was low health and she used her shroud to disappear. This canceled my ultimate, and did NOT reset the cool down. I feel what should have happend is that the ultimate either A. Goes through even though L.O.S was broken, or my ultimate gets reset as it was never actually used.

Steps to reproduce.

Be Garen
Use Demacian Justice on enemy Akali player
Akali player uses her shroud immediately after you use your ult
Profit?

I can confirm that she did have the same exact amount of hp when she came back out of her shroud, completely untouched from my ultimate. I have not tried this vs other stealth champions as of yet, but if i encounter this issue with other stealth champions i will update this thread. I also have not tried to reproduce this since that match.

In the new patch 4.18

Bug fix: "Garen's R - Demacian Justice will no longer cancel itself if the target enters the fog of war while Garen is mid-cast".

What does this mean? I've had this happen to me recently too(against akali), and does this address it, cause its not very clear as to what will happen with his ult.

Garen's ultimate has had many issues with line of sight since his visual rework, so that at least in normal. However it should not be going on cooldown. Can you reliably reproduce this? Can you reproduce it when other stealth abilities are used?

Did Akali have the same amount of health when she left the shroud as she did before she stealthed? My personal guess is your ultimate hit, but her bonus MR from shroud saved her. Since she was invisible your ultimate animation would also be invisible to you and your team.
