It felt like a bug so I apologize if its working as intended. Was playing Ahri last night when at a point I threw out her Q and then used Zhonya. The Q did not return (it was the damage I needed lol) is this a bug? Teammates saw it and asked me on TS3 as well so i'm not crazy.
I know it was changed not too terribly long ago so that it would return after death, but I don't remember Zhonya's being addressed. It's possible that is a different version of the same scenario, and was overlooked for this change.
I recall the post death return as well and also don't remember anything about zhonyas. At anyrate it didn't end up mattering too much, but I could see it being blown out of proportion if it were an LCS game or something.
