Elixir of Wrath Inflexibility (intended?)

I'm guessing this just wasn't anticipated but Elixir of Wrath is really weak on Corki. It heals for 15% of the physical damage dealt but Corki does 80% magic damage on autos and his kit is also mostly magic damage despite scaling with AD. I'd have expected this Elixir to be adaptive. Sorcery isn't better either. They're both awkward. Only the Elixir of Iron makes some sense. Perhaps this is an intended weakness on certain champions but it just struck me as a bit annoying.
