Malphite stunned Ulting through Veigars Event Horizon, after going full distance and stopping

So, I use Malphite a lot, and I see this every time playing against Veigar...

If I am in Veigar's Event Horizon or on the opposite side of it...I can ULT through it just fine to any point outside of it. But, when I come to a stop, I am stunned. This is super annoying.

I don't know if this was intentional or not. Bit, it seems to me like Malphite should either be stunned at the edge of Veigar's Event Horizon, or not at all. But, to be allowed to charge through into open space, then all of the sudden be stunned in the middle of nothing....that is pretty lame and not really sensible.

Intended.... Works the same with ult. The stun time start to count fro the moment you hit it and no from the moment you stop so it normally last less. Also I rather be stunned after my knock up than just being stop mid way and let my ult go on CD...

Event horizon stops most dashes except the few "unstoppable" dashes. Similar rules apply for Azir ultimate.

I don't think these kinds of Ults should fall victim to a stun like that. But, if they are going to allow this stun, then the way it works now really doesn't make sense. A stun should stun you in place, not 20 feet down the road when you are outside the AOE...

That's the point. You went through the EH, you're going to get stunned. But since it was with your ult you keep going after passing through it.

Both Malphites and Vi's ultimates are working as intended when interacting with Veigars wall. In Vi's case, she cannot be CCed out of her ult but any CC applied to her will start ticking once it is applied and any remaining duration will take effect once her ult is finished. As for Malphite; his is a special case since his ult is literaly called 'unstoppable force'. Absolutely nothing can interrupt it and he also gains CC immunity during the dash, although CC will still be applied to Malphite if it has any remaining duration after his ult is finished. You're lucky; most dashes are stopped upon hitting the wall. You at least get to create some distance before being stunned.
