Yorick Maiden doesn't move when between two towers

So I just finished a game where we team fight inbetween two alive bot towers. After the fight, I went to leave the lane via the side exit by the blue buff, and the maiden stood in the middle of the lane and didn't follow nor push. It just remained stationary. Not sure if this is intended or not, but it was really weird. She began pushing once enemy minions were in range.
