Infernal Nasus Possible Q Bug

I might be mistaken, but the Q animation for Infernal Nasus seems a little slower than his original skin. I've played a enough games with the skin that it looks like it takes just enough time to not hit the minion, when I'm usually pretty good with it. It could just be my skill level though, so could someone confirm or deny it?
