Friends List Update Bug

Recently (past couple days) my friends list has been bugging. It will either not update when someone logs in, or after doing something and opening it, names are moved around, covering each other or in the wrong spot. Some names were visible even though they were offline and I don't have offline friends visible. In addition, when a friend goes into a game, they aren't moved to the correct spot, instead staying in place. I can fix this temporarily by filtering a bunch of random letters, then clearing that.
