Not getting points towards champion mastery?

I've had this the past few days, but only seemingly when I'm playing a champion with a higher mastery level. For example my Hecarim isn't being touched, but when I play a champion I don't play often like Blitz it gives me both a grade and points towards a higher rank. It may very well be giving me a score but I can't see it, but after a game it just spins in a wheel forever never showing me anything. Am I the only one, or is this a problem that has at least a few others? Not that big of a deal, as it doesn't really affect the game at all, just something that's nice to have.
