Regarding the "Attempting to Reconnect" bug, what are you doing about Leaver Buster, Riot?

It's been said before, but Leaver Buster is punishing a lot of people for exiting and re-entering games where they run into the "AtR bug". Lots of us, myself included, are worried that because of these "false leaves", Leaver Buster could auto-ban us just for trying to deal with server bullcrap.

However, on the Riot Support page, your policy states "We will not lift or reduce suspensions from Leaver Buster under any circumstances."

Sounds like a bad idea to keep that policy going when people are getting screwed by your own programming.

What are you planning to do if someone gets screwed by LB because of this AtR bug?

Well what about the times when you get this bug, leave and then the game crashes and won't let you back in? I still can't log back in at all and I've had this bug for days, everything was fine before 4.18

This is continuing to be a problem. My ping wouldn't drop below 500 despite using ethernet. Then the game crashed entirely and my computer wouldn't let me close the game. By the time I could log back on the game ended. Now I'm in trouble with leaver buster.

Riot I've had enough of your shit today I was playing lol around 17 minutes it said attempting to reconnect so I waited for 5 minutes still said trying to reconnect so I exited the then tried to reconnect it said PvP timed out so I tried again same message again so i exited the client and tried to load it up again It wouldn't let me so I said screw it im getting off since I couldn't even get back into the game 20 minutes later I load up lol but I'm in leave buster what the fuck it's not my fault I always have good connection go God sake my game runs at 60 fps so now i have to wait 20 minutes so I can play a game really riot you know what thats bull shit fix your shit riot

I think the game will notice a reconnected player.

I really don't get it, I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Not the best ping around here 79-86 on TekSavvy VDSL2 25/7 And I've had 0 attempting to reconnect issues for a long time now, don't even remember the last time. Maybe it's only Cable internet? Let me know what you guys are running on, Fiber Optic, Cable, DSL, VDSL2?
