Summary of New Client Dislikes.

Majority of people

  1. Laggy. I can confirm, just clicking on some things takes it much longer to load then the old client. Not to mention the higher CPU and Memory consumption of my desktop.

  2. Chat Chat has many Issues.
    First that mainly bothers me is; when in champion select you can't change whoever you are talking to or have already been talking to. I have a habit of exitting out of whatever conversations I am in, so this actually is really annoying. Secondly the Chat seems to be very laggy on top of the loading lag of the client.

  3. Game Connection Issues Apparently people are attributing connecting to games with the Client. A big thing is that they can reconnect; but they have to wait for everyone to load into the game before they can reconnect to the game. That can be very annoying for some people if they don't have the fastest of internets or the fastest of computers.

But overall the Client is good.

Personal thing I would love to see, is a way to minimize my fucking friends list. I hate seeing all of my friends on at once. I don't know maybe i just hate people but play with only the good ones xD?

But overall those are the major problem atm.

I personal do not have issue number 2. Chat has that icon near the bottom left to minimize the chat to friends. I would also add to the lag may be because it is way too flashy. It looks cool, granted, but way too much stuff is added into the client. There are tiny details that the old client had that I would like for the new one to have such as

  1. A status on other players acceptance of a match. Looking at a screen with me having no clue of the other 9 players or how much time is left is a bit... ummm... stressful? I already wait 3 minutes to find a game anyway, at least tell me the other players and time I have left.
  2. My wins to loss in modes. I have yet to find any info on my wins and loses in my normal games. I believe I have 2 more loses over wins but I do not know. I have yet to find in my profile how many games I have played total. I liked seeing my gold, diamond, and plat rating with just regular games in normal and ARAM. I'd like to know my status on that.
  3. The top 8 champs in masteries. I only see my top 3, which is fine, but I would also like to see my other 5... because I am not a one trick player and would like to know my status on them without going to my 'collection' and figuring that out.
  4. When I click a champion, I hear their saying. Previous client, click them, you hear their saying. Modern client, it is only once you locked in do you hear it.
  5. An item customization set. Need I say more?
  6. When I minimize League during my draft queue search as I wait for the next 3 minutes, make the sound too also go off. I do not wish to hear that music on top of whatever I am doing tabbing over for the next three minutes. Neither do I wish to mute the sounds and possible miss the sound ques that a match has been found.
  7. When in draft mode, have some animation of where everyone is in sequential order like the previous client. I have some huge delay in finding what role I am and what position I am in, knowing if I can ban or not, and if I am Bot side map or Top side map.
  8. See a bigger champion pool in one screen. You could easily look at 45 champions when choosing a champion (say to ban) but know, the view has narrowed down a lot to where you say about 20. (Exaggeration may be present). Just see more champions' pictures when selecting them to ban/play.

Temporary issues:

  1. Making custom games an putting bots in it. So I can test playing a champ without an actual game or a quick bot game to test it out.
  2. Limited time modes--- missed out on the first day of Ascension because it took me a while to figure out how to switch back to the old client.
  3. Spectate friends' matches.

I know some are more personal than the others but some things to make more.... home-y? I think everyone would like to know the status of the other players when accepting a queue as well as the time left, and non one-trick players may like knowing what the 4th through 8th champ is. People who tab over might like the sound going off too. Just something I would like that others may also want.
