Kled Ulted without running

Today I found out how to ult as Kled without him actually moving afterwards. I was scrolling down the map with "Y" button toggled and when I ulted I must have hit something on the skills menu because I ulted....but didn't move. My ult traveled the distance it was supposed to go. But I never went anywhere.
