Unable to mute teammates

I ran into a bug that a vladamir on my team abused by constantly harassing me in chat where no matter how I tried to mute him he could still sling every insult in the world at me and tilt me off the face of the earth. Please figure out why you can not mute someone sometimes.

Edit: btw this is in the wrong bug report area cus I am dumb.

try using /muteall or /mute summoner name. This worked for me.
