Vlad vs. Teemo Top?

So, yeah.

Got completely dominated by Teemo. I was trying to just Q+AA and back out over and over, which was working, but he outranges me by so much that my normal weardown strategy wasn't working. He could hit me three times for every two times I hit him, and he had poison going for him (which outdamaged my ability to Q heal it).

How the heck does Vlad deal with a Teemo top?

Skill match-up

I have been in this match up 3 times now, won all 3(either to versing low elo/ or im just main the shit outta top/both) Im not a good player but

I start dorans shield and 1 health pot.

Q him whenever its up , when he is near, and run away only go near him when my Q is up Don't use e for trade because it isn't worth it(until later)

If you're low hp, spam q at minions to heal up.

My 50c

You'll have to remember hes squishier than you, so you have the late game when your Q gets better. Try to time your trades when he AA's the minions, so only spells are traded. If you like setting a rhythm, try a trade, heal q on minion, trade again. You will win over time if he's not too aggressive. If he is... then you get to farm under tower easy with Q, e and your JG should know to come gank.

I don't play Vlad, but a lot of matchups against Teemo come down to movespeed advantage. If he has a higher MS, he can get in a lot more poke damage. Starting boots, or even using MS quints can let you avoid a lot of damage.

Other than that, Vlad will generally lose to Teemo early, but outscales him if you don't get destroyed early. Don't be afraid to miss some CS to avoid excessive amounts of poke, as long as you are getting the XP, you should start pulling ahead ~lvl 7.

Also, item 3341 will disable his shrooms, so if you are chasing him and he drops one is your path, you can use Sweeping Lens to disable it and keep going. (Just remember it will eventually re-activate)

Vlad counters Teemo. Vlad spellvamp > Teemo poison. Sounds like you're just bad

It's typically a skill match up with those two, sounds like the Teemo had your number. Best thing is early jungle pressure to gain a CS lead and then get your spell vamp build going with some MR splashed.

Too me in a range vs range fight, Positioning is roughly 50% of a fight, then next is reading your opponent and predict what he's going to do next and play off of that said prediction.

Teemo out-ranges you and out-trades you pretty well early game. Your sustain from Q can't cover this up until later levels. But this is pretty typical for Vlad to be in this position early. You do what you'd normally do as Vlad early, play only passive aggressively. Try to outsustain them. Teemo probably won't have a lot of potions especially if he goes doran's blade.

If you get ganked Teemo doesn't do much more than damage so as long as you avoid their jungle's CC you should be able to pool away so... You'll be kind of hard to gank. So if I were you I would try to get the level 2 and minion advantage. Very common tactic... Slow push (try to push slightly faster than the Teemo) Then when you have more creeps and levels try to trade when he steps up to last hit. The idea is to have the advantage without pushing so fast that he can wait and free farm under or near tower. But once the minion line is near his tower you need to push it all the way to tower so you're not overextending for too long when laning and also so Teemo can't use the safety of his turret.

Teemo probably has more pushing power than you early so if he doesn't let you have level 2 first then you'll have much tougher decisions. But to be honest it's pretty unlikely the Teemos in silver will slow push and then try to zone you with their EXP lead. If he kills your creeps way too fast you can farm near tower. Standing near your own ranged creeps will help you trade when he goes for you. Trade back when he trades with you. Try to trim his minion wave down so it's not so much larger than yours. You can tank a couple of his minions just outside your tower's range if your own minion wave is coming. This way you can stay on your side of the lane. If your opponents ever try to tank creeps near his tower to freeze it generally you want to step up and punish that by attacking him. After holding the minion line on your side of the lane your minion wave will generally becomes giant and pile up becomes your reinforcements arrive sooner. A giant minion wave is your friend because it's hard to trade against you in it and it could even give junglers trouble if ganking you.

You should outscale Teemo in teamfights. And if you do fine you should be able to 1v1 him later.

Yea I have to agree....Early pre lvl 4 or 5 you should poke teemo with Q and farm with autos, after lvl 4 with the correct rune and masteries you should not lose this match up. Infact you rape temmo after 6 just don't run through bushes like a tard where most teemos shroom...sounds like you need to practice your lane trading and farming skills.

maybe if teemo is too busy trying to last hit, he wont shoot you back when you hit him if he does, gj.. you set him behind
