Hey fellow summoners! A group of players are looking to put together a platform for you guys to learn. Currently, there are four of us involved in the making of this project: Gamerguy13, Sir Armamalum, Daen, and myself.

The goal is to help our fellow summoners hone their skills, regardless of rank. There’s always something to improve on, and we want to make learning a fun and social event. Our initial goal is to set up weekly classes that rotate on a flexible schedule. Every week there'll be a new lesson taught by one or more coaches, depending on that week's topic, there might be a lecture, exercises, gameplay analysis, all three or something else! We'll set up a voice call via an online client.

Currently, we're planning on a three month schedule; at the end of the third month, the schedule will repeat. Each month has a specified "Theme" to keep things organized and to better help you find what you may want to participate in. The 'Special' weeks are planned to be weeks where anything goes! If enough people suggest a topic we can use that week for it. We also have other ideas to put in there, such as making a champion concept or, if possible, maybe even a Riot Q&A.

No matter what we plan on expanding this, provided enough people sign on to help!

Month 1 - Beginner Individual Improvement:

  • CSing
  • Build Paths and Itemization
  • Handling a Snowball
  • Special

Month 2 - Team Goals:

  • Roaming
  • Warding
  • Team fights/Rotating
  • Special

Month 3 - Intermediate individual improvement:

  • Positioning/Kiting
  • Controlling a Minion Wave
  • Trading/Lane Tactics
  • Special

Right now, what we're looking for is just a proof of concept (something that will let us know as planners that we're going in the right direction). We have a ton of awesome ideas to keep the project scalable for the future. Here's just some of our ideas if we get this project going:

  • Record classes for anyone to view on their own time
  • Host scrims for teams
  • Team tournies -- where players get grouped in a team, are given a coach and battle for bragging rights.
  • Create our own subreddit, so people can connect with others in the program and ask questions.

If you have any questions about this program or how to get involved please let us know! For now we'd appreciate it if all those interested could fill out our proof of concept/interest form. It'll really help us know who might want to be a coach and who wants to learn.

Thanks again everyone!

i have a question; when will the sign up close up? i want to sign up, but my computer is broken right now and even though i'm getting it back soon, i'm going to need to practice again for a week or so.

also, how demanding are the schedule per coach?
