Getting teammates fed as Shaco vs getting yourself fed.

Hello, everyone, first of all i apologize If i opened this in a wrong place. Anyway, I was wondering, which is a better idea as a shaco. Because I noticed when I let my teammates get kills, we almost always win the game, but when I get super fed, we still might lose. But theres still that fear of being useless as the time passes on, so what are the experienced shaco's ideas on this.

I do not personally play shaco, however I would imagine it depends on the opposing team comp as well as your faith in your team relative to yourself.

If the opposing team has a lot of single target attacks/ults, then focusing all the team gold into one person (i.e. you) seems like a bad idea as you'll just get focused and die. On the other hand if their comp is more aoe focused, then having one super fed person who can wade through the aoe and instagib their carries can be more useful.

Similarly, if you feel you're well above your matchmade peers in terms of skill (e.g. on a smurf account), then you're probably best funnelling the carry potential(/gold) into yourself. If you get fed then it is on you to make use of that, but if you feel you're less likely to screw up then your teammates then it makes sense. Similarly if you're all about equal skill, then spreading the gold around is probably safer so each individual has more room to screw up without it costing the game. (And of course if you've noticed specific teammates are prone to getting caught or otherwise making poor decisions, it might be wise to specifically try to take those kills but still try to feed your other teammates.)

It depends to what extent you feed yourself or your team. If you're 20/0 and your team is just on par, you went too far. Likewise if your team is 30 kills ahead but you're negative. As shaco you need kills to be relevant.

Well. i look at the jungle as a giant buff to the team, i usually play rammus (when i first play lol, i seen him and was determined to master him) however with his most recent nerf (rito fix plz) hes useless. but to get back on track as a jungler i tend to feed my team, one it provides a more powerful snow ball effect and you get gold still from assist. at level 3 im ganking any lane that shows me a kill. then again its also hard for rammus lvl 3 to ks but if i do get the kill, it wont hurt anyone. the lane ally(s) will still get assist(s) for the gank and give them a free time to farm peacefully for a little while (provided its not top and tele back instantly).

and junglers please try to ward more often. vision is huge especially late game where the whole map becomes the playing field.

It's especially tough for him to carry games if he's made of paper mache.

I know it's nerfed but I had a friend who built Warmog's on Shaco every game back in S1-S2 and it was really, really good. So long as everything else he built was damage.
