Sure. I went from S2 to G1 with Nami only, so I imagine you could do it with Thresh if you're good with him.

I'm currently in Silver 1, with Thresh and my duo we got to 50LP (In Silver 2) and then I found that he was an amazing Ahri so I jungled and we got each other fed. Now I'm at Silver 1 with 0 LP scared to death because I lost 3 in a row due to toxic players and AFKers (no joke it's not an excuse).

You can get diamond if you're good enough. Support and jungler have most impact on the game after laning phase (about 15 min mark).

Easily, i went from silver 4 to gold 5 in 4days. Playing thresh 90% of those games. Mind you i had a plat adc to duo with but his account that i was duo'ing with was gold 3 and his mrr dragged better people.

Definitely, all you need to do is make sure you land hooks and poke with the flay empowered auto attacks. Above all the most important thing you need to do is make sure that your adc doesn't go full derp and dive balls deep, but if he does make sure he survives.
