Ways to Help me Improve

Hello guys, I'm a Plat 3 player who just lost 8 games in a row then finally won one. Although every situation was different like 5 deaths in our team in 2 min cuz of udyr invade that the enemy team bandwagoned on, having all the teams kills as mid and unable to utilize it hence throwing the advantage away, or having only assists and trying to make my self useful as adc, supporting an adc that had an advantage thrown away due to an early hook to turret range, and playing top lane while cringing at the fact that every lane is losing. Especially now, it is like the ultimate tank meta (thank you titanic hydra), and I don't know how to deal with these tank comps with bursting mages.summoner 3 I'm exhausted because I know that 8 losses in a row is not luck based factor. I did win 5 games in a row before that though, because I had good players that either did really well individual or carried hard. So how can I rely on my teammates less and rely less on the RNG of which players I play with/ against? (Please don't tell me which champions to play at what meta as I know that doesn't matter much in solo queue and don't tell to git gud, because I already know that but don't know HOW to git gud.) I have the most problems in early mid game where laning phase is just over and the first tower falls.

I would encourage you to ward more, but im silver so you wont listen.

However if you want specific tips on how YOU can improve your game i would recommend recording your upcomming matches so that a diamond + player who decides to take the time to help you out can review the footage and give you relevant feedback. aftermath reports dont say much in the way of what you did in the match good or bad, besides the lack of wards :P

good luck

actually im willing learn from anyone, but warding past laning phase gets really messy and i only get wards as support and top mostly to not get ganked(i get red and blue trinkets for other roles). I know that the mid tower is probably the first thing one needs to get to break laning phase and move onto skirmishing phase where objectives are easier to control like dragon and side towers due to enemy jungler not having as much control. However, all the skarners and annoying junglers make my other lanes lose and unable to catch these objectives. I have to convince them to push mid with me but all they want to do is farm or dragon. What do you usually do to clearly communicate with your teammates?

your struggle with objective control and communication might not be so separate. Wards past the laning phase are the tools that we can use to get those pesky objectives safely, or at least as safe as possible ( they get place wards too...total bs i know :P )

For example, you want to take that mid tower but your team insists on dragon. Youve actually gotten a couple deep wards down that spot two of their members top side jungle. That information is exactly what you need. I have found that no matter what kind of personalities i run into, my shot calling is 99% followed when i back it with game state information like that.

"lee and darius top, no tp" (triple pings drag)

otherwise everybody else seems to think they know best, and unless im hard carrying they dont want to listen.

thats actually pretty genius. ill try that more as top and mid laner. Where do you usually ward on top side jg? I usually only ward the wraiths section.

The raptor bush is a great one. I like to try to get a ward just outside the main buff camp, in the edge of the adjacent bush. When the website lets me upload an image i will show you my favorite wards spots.

o yea how about the enemy team constantly grouping while our team is always spliting? How do I convince them? I swear that plats have mechanics of diamond but the decision making of silvers.

The issue you are running into has nothing to do with elo...its 5 individuals playing a team game as individuals... have you ever watched a pickup game of basketball or football and notice the chaos? Until one of them makes himself stand out as the leader AND they decide to follow him, even for a short while, you will have this unhinged dynamic.

I have not found the answer to this problem...when i do, i will be with you in plat i am most certain. I have found a few strategies that have relative success.

1.) you usually have 2 small groups and you...find the strongest of those groups and join them hoping for the best...if you cant tell them where to go, just go with them i guess, it works sometimes simply because you are there.

2.) stay the farthest away from your team, build for split pushing and take towers while your team hunts for fights they cant win...this one also has limited success and i usually only do this when jungling or playing top.

3.) if you can identify the complete retard that your team has decided to follow for no reason that you could possibly understand...either follow them, or focus your efforts on convincing them of your strategy. yes they are obviously making bad calls...but if what you need is to simply be together when the fight happens....following the retard with everybody else gets the job done, albeit in the most irritating way.

these arent good answers, because i dont actually have the answer for this one.
