How to climb from plat to diamond as support?

Hello, first post ever. I've been maining support for 2 seasons now, and I used to be stuck around gold V. However in my placements this season, I placed in gold 3 and skyrocketed up to platinum 3. While I'm excited that I finally have gotten out of gold, obviously diamond is in the crosshairs and I'm finding a lot of difficulty getting above plat 3. I know any role can get to diamond if they're good enough, and I want to believe that I can improve my support game enough to hit diamond since the season just barely started. So how do you diamond+ supports do it? Do you find a good adc to duo with and just carry from bot? Or do you just solo?

Plat is a whole nother beast its where people think they belong in diamond and think they know the game so when they start doing poorly they give up almost immediately. The best thing you can do is always keep focus and not let anyone get to you and do your best to do your role. Alot of ADC's are asshats who think they are better than they are and dont take well to people who disagree with them. My advice and this is going to sound like suck is to just ignore the really rude ones and try to motivate the ones who arent.

You can support up to diamond pretty easily. Good to feel out your adc before the game starts. I look them up on lolking and see if they actually play adc. If they don't, I'll go a cheese support that can build damage. If they do, I'll play whatever support works best with our team and will let my adc get fed.

Win lane, hard. Kill the enemy adc a few times and get your jungler to take dragon. Setting up vision around dragon and in the enemy jungle is amazing for this.

I'm a big fan of tanky engage supports with a lot of cc right now. The way the meta is, there are a lot of champs that want to just run on your adc and eat them alive. By peeling, you make your adc WAY more impactful. Sejuani Leona Thresh Blitzcrank are fantastic for this. Had a lot of success running summoner 3 summoner 14 Sejuani lately when I support. Players don't know how to play against it and you can solo the enemy adc with a few items.
