All jokes aside though, I am having the hardest time laning against Yasuo. His damage is insane, and all I can do is play passively the whole game and farm my q as 
. His mobility is so insane (I mean he has as many dashes as there are minions in your lane with virtually no cooldown). Now I don't want to just say he's op and complain, but rather ask you guys to give me some advice for facing this wandering swordsman from hell.
You're playing against 
. This is literally one of Yasuo's easiest matchups, particularly if he is a smart Yasuo and takes cleanse. This is especially true after the recent Veigar "changes". Your only real hope is to not feed not long enough to either get jungler help or get enough AP so that you can 1 shot him, which will never happen now, since you will never stun him, and thus never be able to ult him. This is just a horrendous matchup for Veigar that doesn't really have counterplay available to you.
Yasuo vs Veigar is one of the hardest counters in the game.
He's AD, so your ult doesn't scale on him. He has dashes, so your Q, W, and E will never hit. He has a projectile-proof wall so your Q and R will never hit.
Farm as passively and safely as you can under your turret. Rush Zhonya's. If you jumps you, drop your stun around yourself so that if nothing else, if he wants to kill you, he'll have to die to the turret. Also shortly after he burns his tornado, AA him to activate his shield and then run under your turret while it wears off. So long as he doesn't have both his tornado and shield up, he's less likely to try to come at you.
hmm... that's a pretty bad matchup tbh
try and bait out the windwall and dodge the tornadoes and you should be able to survive lane phase.
Ive found that.. Zyra, Kat, Syndra, Soraka and Leblanc work quite well against Yasuo. Zyra, Syndra, Soraka and Kat should be able to provide damage that cant be blocked by Windwall or Kat, who can just E. Leblanc should just walk through the wall and then use her spells.
Yea Veigar isnt the best champ to fight him with.
Have you tried fizz? Another possibility is breaking the meta, play a garen mid, or an aatrox or some top laner that would counter him if he was top lane
I had problems with him while playing 
but is a lot about baiting out his wind wall and dodging those tornadoes. shouldn't have to much problems with his dash since the stun has a large AOE. I'm no pro but yasuo is baiting and dodging game and if he burns all those dashes on a wave he is out of escape for ganks so call for them fast.
Yasuo has mobility but like all mobile champs he is hindered by on target CC. Veigar with his cast and animation time can't lock him down and both his Q and R are blockable skillshots.
An easy and similar solution is Annie 
who has a similar playstyle but unlike Veigar it is impossible for Yasuo to block any of her CC or spells using wind wall.
