Hey guys I'm a sorta experienced jungler that mains it now for all of my ranks and for my new team I've joined. If possible I would love some tips or tricks to have with jungleing I've been running jungle hec, rek, shaco, and now learning Diana and Elise and j4. If there are any tips like when to buy sight stone or how to farm and gank perfectly I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I've got a few:

  1. Focus kills early, objectives mid-game, and getting picks late game.

  2. Don't feel bad about farming in your jungle if you don't see any good opportunities to gank. One good way to waste a lot of time is to run to every lane trying to make ganks and failing repeatedly because you are rushing and blindly trying to have a positive influence. As a sejuani main, I've had several times where I'll hit 6 while the enemy jungler is still level 4, just because he was wasting so much time trying to pressure lanes for nothing.

  3. If the opposing jungler shows on the opposite side of the map, immediately start counter-jungling. Even if this might not have as much influence as the gank he just pulled off, it will still work to grab a little advantage for yourself.

  4. Learn to predict where the enemy jungler is going to be. Is the enemy jungler playing a ignite-smite shaco? He's likely going to try to kill you at your second buff, so just don't show up. Clear your starting side of the jungle and go back. This will waste his time, and likely all he'll get from it is one buff (which isn't as big a deal as people make it out to be, depending on jungler). Alternatively, if they are playing lee sin for instance, it is quite common for lee to try for a gank lvl before his first back, so if you can set up for a counter gank, you will likely net yourself a pretty easy kill. Lastly, if they play amumu or fiddle, you can be almost guaranteed that they are starting blue, meaning they will be landing in their red side jungle for their second buff. If you play an aggressive jungler such as lee sin or jarvin, you can take this knowledge to either steal that buff before they get there, or kill them when they try to take it. (all examples, and all focus on early game, but this kind of thinking is useful for many different champions at many different stages of the game).

  5. Don't focus too many resources on the first couple dragons if your chance of getting it is below 50%. Often times, I see teams that get desperate trying for a barely contestable dragon and end up getting aced because the enemy team has the superior positioning. Instead, you can be spending this time hard pushing another lane, stealing buffs, or even rushing baron if it's late.

  6. Lastly, try to focus on something you want to improve each game. At the beginning of each match, tell yourself, "I want to do X this game", and go for it. If you just mindlessly play, you'll improve much slower than if you are consciously focusing on specific things you want to improve on.

Do not show yourself on the map to the enemy if there is no reason to. People like me, will take advantage of knowing where the enemy jungler is. "oh the enemy jungler is camping bottom. Say goodbye to your red/blue buff"

I personally think first drag is overrated, especially if you get a timer on it. I always say, best part about drag, it will be back in 6 minutes. Many times teams will basically suicide just to get that first dragon. Sometimes it is worth it, usually it is not.

The best tip I can give, know your enemy jungler, and counter him when you can. If I can counter the enemy jungler, I will counter jungle him every chance I get. If the enemy is going amumu jungle, he will start on his blue side. and if you can somehow steal it, you can set him back greatly.

As far as ganks go, I always like to remind my team at the beginning of the game. If they overextend and force the enemy under there tower, they will most likely not get a gank because I will not tower dive. Remind them of this so they do not get upset with you at the end of the game, complaining they never got a gank.

Personally, I like to get my jungle item complete and boots complete before I get sightstone. That's my personal preference however, it all depends on how the game is going, and who I am against.

I am no where near a "pro" jungler, but these are the things I have learned from other people that are much better than I, and I am just trying to spread the love.

Youtube/Twitch channel junglers that I watch: Trick2g, my favorite one, he's a cocky asshole, but he does know his stuff when it comes to the jungle and what you need to do Foxdroplol

There are many others, but those are my favorites

Hope this helped, good luck!

I Like to go to walk into bot lane a few times in a row if they are stalled in the mid. reason brings agro to bot so i can gank mid hard and it makes there team not want to make a mistake because they know i want them. like no joke i go bot take gromp go bot again check mid go bot and then do my thing. i do this for all lanes not just bot that was an example but it lets them know you want to kill them so they dont like to go as hard.

I little ganking tip. If you see a ward kill. Go do a camp really fast (makes the laner think you ran off) then immediately gank that same lane. I've gotten many successful ganks doing this.

Ward drag if the support doesn't do it.

If the enemy jungler is behind, capitalize on it. Clear his/ her camps. If you spot him and you can take him out do it, then run because laners tend to chase (at least from my experience) providing free farm for your laners.

read all the tips and most of them are really good. main one from me would be to realize what type of jungler you have. if its early game power ganks like lee sin/ jarvan.. go for the early ganks.. if its udyr/yi/ sej/ focus on farming although youre a jungler your first priority is to help your team. never prioritize farm over objectives.
