I have been trying to become more accustomed to Talon ever since I bought him with ip a few days ago. Right now I really suck and I have no idea what I am doing with him. I do not wish to go 3/11/15 with talon anymore and request any talon main's advice on what to build, what to max, and certain combos.
Im not a talon main, but i used to play him quite a bit, and still like to use him as a counterpick.
As for items, Armor pen is your best friend. Youmuus and black cleaver are both great on him. Otherwise, you just want to do a lot of ad. Since Talon has a fast combo with a lot of aoe, it is better for your team if you build straight damage, since you will always be able to kill the adc, plus get a big chunk off the rest of the team.
The classic talon build is something like this
Whenever i played him, i sometimes tossed around a

, but these are situational, with the botrk only good if the mid has a high health pool, and the zephyr only really good if your team is in constant small scale fights.
You should always have one of these three items

, unless the enemy is all ad.
For skill, your max order will be rwqe. Your W is your ranged harrass/ highest damage spell. Your goal in lane will be to use w to harrass the enemy down to halfish health, than burst them down.
wait for CC used, go in and kill ADC, then use ult to escape because you don't need your ult to kill the enemy ADC
I am a Gold II Talon main but, I play him at alot higher of a rank. I basically only play Talon and I have a few tips on him for you. FEED ALOT. Talon is a champion you need to feel out, very similar to Fizz on how the only way to get good is to make alot of mistakes and learn from them when I first played him I fed so hard but, eventually by spamming tons of normal games as him you start to differentiate the wrong and right moves in lane.
