There are honestly many good tanky champions in league.
Tanks make up a lot of my champion pool at the moment. I find myself playing most of the following pretty frequently.

You need to choose appropriately for your team composition, but they are all quite strong and capable of carrying games.
basicly works in anny situation even if your underfed counterd and would get melted instantly
you stil have a ult wich is waaaaaaaaaaay to op for anny champ (easy to hit and big impact )
id like to say the same about cho gath, but i havent done that good with him myself
ive seen people carry with him just by landing his q in teamfights do
