Vi Question

Basically I've just bought Vi and honestly in this new jungle, I love her, but I have some questions. Is it better to go Black Cleaver on her or Trinity Force? I at first though Trinity Force because the warrior enchantment already gives her armor pen, damage, and cdr.

Secondly, is there ever a reason to go Juggernaut over Warrior on her? Thanks in advanced.

I main Vi, but I haven't gotten a chance to play her in the new Jungle yet so take what I say with caution.

I always took TriForce over Cleaver as Vi before because the movement speed plus burst is just very hard to pass up especially as Vi, and it gives a much larger power spike. In the new jungle, I would def say Tri-Force since as you said warrior gives armor pen and cdr nullifying Cleavers main benefits, but I would wait till after you have bought a few other items, as Triforce can be difficult to build. especially now with the buffs to jungle camps. I would say maybe build teir two boots, randuins. or an aegis depending on the game before you start your triforce. Maybe build phage and then hold off on the other two till a little later.

Again, take my words with a grain of salt cuz i havent played the new jungle yet, waiting for my computer to be fixed.

Honestly it depends what smite upgrade you take whether you would go damage or not... If you're going with smite a player trinkets then you would get damage... and if you're going with smite reduced by half when it kills a big minion and running util masteries for like 15 second smite cd's and trying to scale you're probably going to wanna go something like

0/21/9 masteries with attack speed runes for your w obviously and the reduce smite by half when it kills a big minion thing and you're going to wanna get the tanky thing and just spam farm and gank when your ult is up.. and then late game the % damage on w and Vi's retarded scaling will give you all the damage you need..

I probably wouldn't run damage on vi just simply because it's like running damage on WW why be a glass cannon when you can be 4k hp and only do like 80 dps less..

Idk I'd probably do something like Juggernaught reduced smite cd by 15 seconds upgrade 0/21/9 masteries and then i'd do like:

Sheen -> Randuins(prioritize health first because its effective early to ap and ad) -> Righteous Glory (a new item it's a combination of shurelyas and randuins active and its like a roa that doesnt stack for bonus's) -> Triforce -> Locket or thornmail -> optional (damage, Ga, Tanky, Whatever)

Strategy is just like this : Randuins is really good on vi for when you ult in you can use the randuins active and etc.. etc.. the randuins paired with the righteous glory is stupid... you can shurelyas your team toward whoever you're ulting and then slow them by 110% when ur ult lands.. and u pop the shield and randuins.. Sheen is just for early damage with Q and then finish later. Overall every item in that build gives you hp... so you can either get thornmail or locket.. locket is better unless you're really getting shredded and you need thornmail. if you're vs a snowballed apc and a scaling adc you might wanna consider locket and ninja tabi instead of mercs because ninja tabi is actually a really broken item when combined with a randuins

I mean it's a really health heavy way to play it but that's fine since noone really plays vayne anymore and noone really gets botrk anymore until like 100th item. Everyone itemizes bt now for bigger crits so stacking health is back essentially .

Trinity Force > Black Cleaver

The stickiness and kit synergy makes it much more powerful as a priority item.

If your team genuinely needs you to take the role of tank, go ahead and do it. If you're going to be a bruiser, though, I would still take the warrior.

If you plan on taking juggernaut anyways, make sure to fit a BC into your inventory, because it'll let you acquire everything you're missing out on from warrior.

Even if you go tanky, I'd still get triforce and warrior. Get your tankiness in boots and resist items after

i also just bought bi in the new season and have been learning her too (in ranked of course, cause I'm a badass and can go 6-3-10 in my first game. Gonna have to say the as jungle item is the best. Take the slowing smite if your playing against champs u think will be running (cough kalista) or the true damage smite if u wanna reck jungles like we (as and true damage op).

Than umma go against what most ppl say here and rush brutilizer, than randuans, than finish cleaver. The reason rhy is cause as vi your gonna be doing a lot of peeling and will need the armor pen for those tanks bursters, plus u need the ad and it synergies a with your as jungle item AND your passive. Sheen has too low of a cd to bed that effective since u have o choose to either wait to proc your Ed for max damage. Next your e is aoe so arm pen AFFECTS all in range. I consider a tri force a luxury item as it is more pricey than to upgrade than your brut. Mid game u need armor to stay alive in back lining their carries to get your full combo, meaning u need randuins Asap.

If your super fed u can rush trifocals after first jungles item, but I'd say you'd begetter off with devour and black cleaver cause then u proc e faster, AND SHRED ARMOR FOR YOUR WHOLE TEAM. Is undderated imo

Remember to start blue than clear small jungle camp than red so u can smite and gain health for lvl 3 gank
