Which ADC to learn?

To "master" the ADC which ADC do you recommend learning? Someone that will help you overall have a good grasp of all ADCs after learning?

Thanks for all answers!

I'm terrible at ADC (and I never touched ADC until like the last months of this season) and I had the same exact questions as you

Tbh, I feel that Caitlyn or Sivir is nice. Now, you should definitely value a pro ADC's opinion over mine but Imma give you my 2 cents:

Sivir is cheap, she has a skill shot, lots of mobility and a spell shield

She teaches you how to kite, she has a skill shot you practice on, and her spell shield (a 1-time only shield) teaches you to value the squishiness of an ADC. When I first ADC i just fight like I have any other champion, and thus I get blown up cause I rush to the front lines (I still do sometimes lol) but Sivir teaches you how to kite and, even with low AA range, teaches you how to fight during teamfights without endangering herself (cause shes fast and has spell shield)

Caitlyn is not as cheap, and she has the highest base AA range

She is a total lane bully and her laning phase is extremely easy (especially when your support is braum)

If you dont want to feed, Caitlyn is an awesome adc to play. Just remember not to get used to her auto range too much because of course other ADCs like Graves or lucian doesnt have the same high auto range as her, so get comfy with her and the role of an adc but dont get too comfy unless you plan to only play Caitlyn the entire time in your adc career

Good luck have fun :D

If you want to learn ADC in general. Probably Jinx.

  • Skill shots
  • No mobility so positioning is important, even more so for a hypercarry.
  • CC has to be timed and setup
  • Long range execute to learn predictions
  • Low base AA range to force managing ranges.
  • Waveclear so you can avoid getting pushed too hard.
  • Get Excited to reward good play.

Caitlyn is often considered the easiest. But she has a long AA range, escape and good waveclear. She has a lot of tools to avoid the problems ADC's need to learn to face.

Ashe, Tristana, Sivir, Miss Fortune and Varus are also all decent. I learned mostly with Varus. But that was before Jinx.

So i feel like that AD is role that HAS to be play again and again and again to get good at with: knowing when to go in, knowing when to just stay back and farm, does your champ has a good early game or does the enemy have a better early game? stuff like that but the ones i say you should play are: Caitlyn, Jinx and Ezreal. Cait has some of the best range out of ANY ADC out there, so shes a safe pick. Jinx is just one of the best ADCs out there at this point and is a good way to learn AD. And ezreal is the one i used <3. He has long range pock with Q good get mobility with E and has a cross map ult. I would say that Jinx would be your best bet followed up by Caitlyn then Ezreal but its up to you! :D i wish you good luck :D
