Good item set for noob Sivir

i'm a new player, started last month with a friend. She is not improving as much as she want. She is using Sivir, I use Cho Gath, usually playing along side the same lane, whatever lane is free.

She dont speak english very well, so she have difficulty understanding the different effect of each item.

So, leaugue of legend community, what foolproof item set up do you suggest for Sivir?

And, in which order purchasing them? Please, dont suggest fancy item with tricky active. She need a set up very straigforward and simple, that will help her in about every situation ;)

Of course there's many situations where you'd want to deviate from this build, but in general if you build these items in this order it'll be fine.

A good place to look if you are new is online for builds. Mobafire is one site that is pretty popular. Eventually you will want to be able to build according to how much armor the other team is, whether to build armor or magic resist, ect. Anyways here is a nice build and guide for sivir.

This is how I build her:

item 3031 item 3006 item 3046 item 3072 item 3035

Then depending:

item 3102 or item 3026

You can build item 3087 instead of item 3046 , but the latter has worked better for me.

Those items are pretty expensive, do you just save money until you buy them or you buy other stuff first that you sell mid game then buy those?

buy the stuff that eventually build into the expensive stuff of course the only thing you will buy and sell later is doran blades item 1055

you dont save up for a shiv item 3087 , you buy brutalizer item 3134 first... or the long swords first...they build into the shiv

If you can't buy pickaxe or bf on first back Buy vamp scept.

Sell shiv later for pd. It's stronger later on.

Don't dismiss Runaan's Hurricane instead of Static Shiv. Its much better for multiple target dps than static shiv and takes out minions faster. Here are two articles about it. I am not sure how well it will work with sivir but I buy it if I use caitlyn and have gotten many multi kills only because of this items dps on multiple champs:

Runaan's is not a good item. While Runaan's gives more attack speed, shiv is just better overall. ADC's need crit chance to deal their maximum damage. Runna's isn't worth the money.

People always say this except the statistics when comparing both items do not always agree. Its more important to understand how the game is going and which adc you are playing to determine when you should choose one over another. Shiv is better when focusing one target but in a team fight runaans would help a lot more.

No. Shiv helps you get the max amount of damage you can do because of crit chance. All runaan's gives is attack speed and a silly passive. As an ADC it isn't your job to do aoe, that's your teammates. Your job is to as much damage as you can without dying. Shiv makes you do more damage in the long run because, it also provides a bit of aoe, it also, as I stated before, gives crit chance which will about double your damage.

brut doesnt build into shivv.

sivir has w, why the fk would you need more waveclear @depends if you need wave clear.
