Should junglers buy Sight Stone in early games?

For many of my games, I really found version is much more important than farming or ganking. Especially for the junglers who needs a lot of farm like ww or Jax. What I always do is buy a sight stone in early game and ward up everywhere the enemy jungler might go so my team will survive from the gank and I could have a chance to take away his camps. But the 800 gold cost is really big in the early game and mainly 2 wards + 1 pink only cost 250 within 7mins. What is ur opinion? or

Jax or Lee sin should buy it since it gives them added mobility.

Jax actually uses sightstone extremely effectively since he can ward hop on a 3 second CD, and he can build 1 offensive item then tanky. WW probably won't use sightstone very well.

The question is, can you afford to?

Are you confident in your abilities to spend 800 gold upfront, which means a slight stat deficiency compared to the enemy jungler, and can you capitalize on that vision advantage (either teammates not dying, denying farm, getting kills, etc) to make the cost negligible?

And will you make good use of the little health it gives, in other words you don't need six offensive items in order to be effective?

Give it a shot sometime, these kinds of things require experimentation. It's really about personal taste (I love to, but my friends don't like it when I do).

I'd only get sightstone on Jax and Lee because it allows them to ward hop. As for other junglers, I'd go stealth ward

If you play Lee Sin it's a must. But otherwise I think you are better off buying wards with leftover money. Just always have a pink on the map. LCS teams buy sightstone as junglers because it's much more team-oriented than solo q. This might also be the case in higher elos.

Volibear Might want to buy it. His W health scaling is actually kinda ridiculous.

When playing tanky junglers I find ward to be ridiculously helpful in keeping tab on the enemy jungler, this is doubly true for aggressive junglers as I want to keep a tab on them so that my lanes don't fall behind.
