I've been playing LOL for a couple of years and soon as I found Shaco I was hooked. His high skill cap, and "Troll" of a character. Not that I love trolling my teammates (though it happens), but trolling the other team. Using little glitches to do fun stuff (i.e. back when you could use Hallucinate to hop the Baron wall, Smite steal and Deceive back over and throw your clone into their path.) I think they patched that sometime ago but it gives you the idea of the playstyle. The ganks, and splitpushes that lead you into their base and you're fully surrounded and juke. Camping the enemy red, after taking your blue and smite steal and kill their jungler.

And for those who dont know, Shaco can team fight. Its called splitpushing :P. What people typically say is Shaco cant benefit in anyway with a team fight but that is furthest from he truth. Shaco makes 5v5 into a 4v3. What i mean is shaco can solo and splitpush. so say you have a team fight going down, shaco splits all the way up to the enemy base and the enemy has to sacrifice 2 people to go handle the cancer(shaco) knocking at their front door. Unless your Lee Sin then shaco can still get away but yeah. He turns the odds against the enemy.

My comp spent a few months getting repaired so I haven't been able to play league and now that i've come back. I've lost my edge. Which to any shaco, is very sad <-- he is very upset with me. So my solution to this is to ask the community to assist me in resetting my builds. I have reset my masteries to newer guilds but my issue is what to build first. I can recite them but I have trouble choosing between them. Ideally, unless your really fed, you wouldn't finish 1 item before starting another but thats what Im trying to understand. What would you build towards first :)

Spirit Stone -> Hydra starting with Tiamat -> Shiv -> IE is my normal. I finish Elder Lizard if I am falling behind/not getting fed.

I think the best way to build Shaco boils down to your first three items. (not including boots 1 which you should get after completing your 2nd Tier jungle item)

Machete aside your first item should be a Madred's Razor. 15% attack speed. 50 Bonus damage to monsters. 8 Life on Hit against monsters. That's basically a cheaper better version of a BF Sword while your in the jungle. Not to mention you have the option (later in the game of course) of upgrading that into a Wriggles/Farel. The only time you should NOT rush a Madre's is when you are planning on rushing a Lizard Elder but that comes down to play style.
Always Always ALWAYS build a Hydra. The Ravenous Hydra to Shaco is a Trinity Force to Irelia; you simply have to build it or your build is wrong.
Your third item should be an armor pen item but it still depends on what you plan on building late game and what the enemy team looks like. If you see a brick wall on the enemy team then you are going to want to get Youmuu's or Black Cleaver, generally you get a Black Cleaver if you are planning on building bruiser or tankish and a Youmuu's if you just want kills. If you see a plate of butter on the enemy team then you want to get a Last Whisper.

After this point in the game its really all up to you. It doesn't really matter what you build as long as the item is something that adds Attack Damage, Attack Speed, Crit Damage, Crit Chance and/or Move Speed. Or if you are building Bruiser Shaco then just make sure you fit a Randuin's Omen, Ninja Tabi/Merc Treds, Hexdrinker into your build at some point. People seem to think that Shaco can only be played if you build him full damage but this is not true at all.

I would honestly build towards lifesteal first, so either BotRK or Hydra. Which to my logic, makes sense but I want to know the communities opinion

I'm ranked as the 64th best Shaco in teh world... 8th best na.

You can still wall jump with his ult btw... it is just very hard and not all that consistent.
