I Have spent all of my ranked life in bronze since the beginning of Season 4 i started in silver 4 and by the end of the season i was bronze 5 because i was stupid and fairly new to the game, but now in season 5 i won 7 of my 10 promo games and ended up in bronze 5 again which is quite sad tbh but i don't understand the ELO system anyway. i managed to start winning matches and got to the top of bronze 4 and then hit a massive losing streak and now i am back down the bottom of bronze 5 :( a lot of the time it is down to afk/troll/flame or sometimes i just have a bad game and i really need help because i don't want to be in bronze 5 forever i know i am better than bronze, i would be happy to be in silver 5 tbh just anything but bronze :') please help me!!!!!!

Elo isn't 100% reset every season. It's soft reset. The "base Elo" is Silver V. If you're low Bronze V, it'll reset you to around Bronze III or so. In the placement matches, the earlier matches are far more important than the later ones. So if you lost the first 2 or 3, you'll tend to get placed back in Bronze V.

i know i am better than bronze

If you're better than Bronze, you wouldn't be Bronze. There's nothing wrong with being Bronze. It just means you're not good at the game YET. Most players start in Bronze when they first enter ranked. The first step to getting out of Bronze is accepting that you're not as good as you think you are.

To get out of Bronze, learn the basics of the game. No, trolls are not holding you down. I recommend the "UNSW LoLsoc" YouTube series, go Google it. It'll teach you the basics of the game and explain why you're stuck in Bronze.

Once you accept that your not better then the people you're playing against you will climb. You must respect your opponent's ability, learn from your mistakes, and keep a good attitude. summoner 11 summoner 31

Get better at csing, give aa when enemy go for cs, learn how to trade properly ex they just use a combat spell, fight them if you have all of yours. dont get greedy, ward, roam, rotate, A good rotation- your top, go mid group take tower, come back top to get wave, main one champion. If you truly deserve silver prove it, I smurfed in lower elos before and the biggest issue is not knowing how to trade and abuse a lead. They give free aas, for me bronze-gold is easily carryable even in a 4v5.

That is what really sucks about MMR. Once you actually get good at the game, your MMR is so bad that it takes forever to get it back up to a level where you can climb at a decent pace.

Mainly, there is only two things I see bronze players falter with, and I KNOW because I am in bronze too. One, players are too paranoid, they always blame their stupid teammates about stupid raging and stupid afkers and stupid flamers yadeyadeyade...

Well they are the ones raging and making the game worst for THEIR teammates, which they aren't unaware of. I learned from Pants are Dragon there is a simple way to get better at the game. Just say two simple words you've probably said before in your life. "You suck". This amazing statement tells you to motivate yourself to get better. It is so simple, two simple words, that controls so much feeling. Try it! I've done it, and I'm getting better. Another way that I've learned to get better is from a forum post on Tips & Tricks, which you might have seen. Every time you lose a game, depending on how bad it is, do a certain amount of pushups. Look for it.

Anyways, the second thing I see bronze players messing up on is champion select. They claim to know everything about counter picking and stuff like that. To be honest bronze doesn't really care about counter picking, it's all about picking a champion right for you and playing it. I have heard that the season 5 elo system is a bit harsher, so we have a mix of some old silvers and a few old golds, so they all say they know how to counter pick. Don't argue, it'll make things worst, but just play your own champion that you're good at.

All in all, thanks for reading all of this if you did, and I hope using these tips will help you climb out of bronze!

Use every mistake as a learning opportunity. Always find a reason to blame yourself as to why something went bad, and then think about what you could've done to make it better. Warding is something that I highly suggest you do on any role maybe excluding ADC, but for the most part you should be warding. It really helps your team out and it will help you out too. Youll see the enemy coming, where they are headed, how much health they have, maybe you can roam to them and kill them. There are just a lot of small things you need to do that will have a huge impact. Learning to CS properly is another big thing. 15 minions is = to 1 kill. If you can get 70 cs by 10 minutes ( not as hard as it sounds) most of your opponents at your level will probably be around 45-55 cs. You could have 0 kills, but still be at least a kill up in gold on them. Make sure youre adjusting your build to the pace of the game, I know a lot of low ELO players stick with a build path and don't change it regardless of what's going on, but it is always important to check the scoreboard, see how the game is going, who's strong on your team, who's strong on their team, and then think about what you need. Obviously some champions have 'core' items that you generally build all the time, but I would always take into consideration the state of the game.

Okay. I took a look at your match history. Here are some comments.

  1. You are completing Ruby Sighstone too early. After you get regular Sightstone, sit on it for awhile and finish it as a last item.

  2. When you get a Sightstone, you are not swapping your trinket out for a Sweeper. As a support, this is practically always what you should do. Clearing vision is very important.

  3. You are starting Doran's Ring on support. Frostfang is the standard start for Morgana. It gives you more bonus damage when you expend a charge than a Doran's item, and it gives you gold, and mana regen.

  4. I don't understand Rylai's on Morgana and don't think you should build it on her.

  5. You don't buy Pink Wards. I checked maybe six of your Morgana games, not a single Pink. One of these games had an enemy Rengar, another had enemy Talon, both champs that use stealth. Pink Wards can have an extremely high value, depending on where you place them. They will stay up longer if you use them on your own side of the map, but they may provide less useful information. It depends on which team has map control in what areas.

  6. Back to the Sweeper for a moment. If you are in a teamfight and a stealth enemy is present, you can pop your sweeper to help see them, especially if you have the upgraded Sweeper.

  7. You built two Sheen items on your last Jungle Eve game. Spellblade is a Unique Passive on that item, meaning both items aren't going to perform all of their effects. Spellblade is a little more complex than other unique passives, so I advise reading about it on the Wiki.

  8. You built a lot of armor items and no MR items against an enemy comp of Zed, Lucian, Jax, Garen, Sivir. Well done. That shows you're thinking about your build during the game.

That's all I've got for now. I can only glean so much from looking at someone's Match History and not having seen them play. Decision making and minimizing your mistakes while taking advantage of enemy mistakes will do a lot for you. Good luck.
