I have been trying azir out and I was always rushing athene's or morello and then I checked probuilds and no one uses any mana item
they all buy Nashor's tooth and then rabadons/zonyans (situationally). Also a good amount of people buy rylais, I thought aoe spells are not that worth rylais but anyways. What is your opinion?

also: sorcerer boots+cdr. per level runes.... or cdr boots with normal runes
I like CDR boots, with MR runes - helps a lot in harder matchups (like fizz) :P
Most pro's run scaling cdr blues and go with Pen boots though.
They changed Rylias, it does 40% slow now (just for 1 second though) But...Rylias gives a ton of AP (since the retune of AP items) it gives HP, also, You can Q + AA + AA now with the Rylias, allowing you to sneak an extra auto attack in the rotation, bumps your damage a lot.
Rylai's got buffed recently so that it applies fully to AoE and DoT spells for a shorter duration, so it is incredibly strong at the moment.
Also, a lot of people just go double Doran's ring for mana and then rush Nashor's since it gives the most DPS for Azir, while allowing him to last hit without soldiers if necessary (helps conserve mana).
