Just started playing Ezreal

I'm Araulen, and I need some help with Ezreal. I just started playing him, and I don't know whether I should mid or bot. Once that issue is over, another thing I would like to know is whether AD or AP Ezreal, this has been asked many times, but I'm giving a description of my preferences. I like high burst dmg like katarina. High dmg characters like kalista, and like playing VERY aggressive. What would your recommendation be?

Well, Ezreal is definitely one of my favorite ADCs. You can however, play him as a AP Caster in the middle lane. Playing him middle lane is extremely fun with all his quick abilities and short cooldowns (not to mention nearly 1 shot'ing people with his ult). For me personally I think that Ezreal is stronger as a champion in the bottom lane. Many will agree with this statement.

Here are some builds that are strong...

_AP Ezreal: _

Build 1: Complete Glass Cannon item 3157 item 3135 item 3089 item 3100 item 3020 item 3285

_AD Ezreal: _

Build 1: Blue Build Ezreal item 3025 item 3158 item 3035 item 3042 item 3139 item 3022 (You can swap out or or for other items as well. An example would be item 3072 item 3142 item 3153 )

Build 2: Basic ADC item 3072 item 3006 item 3078 item 3035 item 3139 item 3031 (You can swap out Bloodthirster for item 3153 . As well as swap out for another offensive or defensive item)

Build 3: 40% CDR Ezreal item 3142 item 3078 item 3139 item 3158 item 3508 item 3035 (Once again, for another offensive or defensive item. To achieve 40%, you need to run some extra CDR either in your masteries or your runes)

Build 4: Build Fit for Ezreal item 3078 item 3153 item 3006 item 3042 item 3139 item 3035 (Once again, you can swap out for another offensive or defensive item. You can also swap out for item 3158 depending on what you prefer, the attack speed or cooldown reduction)

There are some pretty good builds to use when playing Ezreal.

Generally it's fairly difficult to be extremely aggresive in lane like a Kalista or Caitlyn would when you're playing as Ezreal. Ezreal's laning phase is not the strongest, however, it's not the weakest. You rely a lot of your Q which is difficult at time to land when you're in lane with all the minions in the way. He is is extremely strong mid to late game. He hits a huge powerspike when he gains his item 3078 or item 3025 depending on what you're building. He is very hard to catch and lock down during teamfights because of his mobility, making him an easy ADC to learn. However, all of his abilities (except for his E) are skillshots. Mastering landing these skills will be vital to your success.

As AP Ezreal you are better off rushing Mejai's followed up by Rylai, Deathcap, and void staff or lich bane (depending on whether or not they buy resist).

Ezreal can escape and stack Mejai's through assists so easily even if your team is losing.

"basic adc" builds are shit on Ezreal unless you get extremely fed early. His autos are too close ranged and he has no self peels or instantaneous burst abilities to make it worth while (except for his ult, but that can be done from long range as well). Blue is better but then your not really an ADC anymore. Blue works on highly offense based teams that lack hardcore tanks. Example Jayce top, Nidalee mid, Lux support, and a Pantheon Jungle.
