1 VS 1 Howling abyss Win Condition=Nexus (Good Picks)
I am having a tournament coming up and I was wondering for some suggestions about good picks on 1 vs 1 howling abyss.Thanks in advance.Was thinking about picking ekko or jayce.

Zed combines a good poke with a good all-in. Zed also uses energy, so mana hassles are less of a problem. Additionally, he has one core item, Ravenous Hydra (some would argue BOTRK, but Hydra gives him great waveclear, which would be more useful to your situation), whose components makes it easy to build under the "no store until dead" penalty. Just focus on using q to poke enemy champ and try your best to last hit. When you get Hydra, you can start pushing really well and try outplayying or 1v1ing your enemy.
Of course, if enemy buys QSS, Zed will really suffer. However, the QSS will definitely set them back in a game mode where store-visits are precious.
Consider Pantheon too. Like Zed, Pantheon is AD (You must pick AD, as AP champs do no dmg to turrets!) and a total lane bully. I always win my lane when enemy jg doesn't interfere. Pantheon's poke (q) is devastating, but his strongest thing is his passive, which blocks damage. Perfect for when health regen is conservative. However, he falls off late game in terms of damage and his ult has limited uses in ARAM (it does clear a large wave though!)
Jayce is the strongest imo, don't do the common mistake buying mana as you get plenty of it from the healing relics and howling abyss passive mana regen buff, you can also win most health relics duels as you can knock them back, another thing making jayce so good in 1v1 duels is that he is very strong against ad carries as he can both stay relatively untouched from their poke and burst them down very easily once he gets some levels.
the strongest 1on1 champion on howing abyss is corki, no contest, not even close.
Udyr is probably the strongest against other melee champs, but malzahar, annie, vayne, darius, teemo, and quinn are other good 1v1ers i can think of
Azir?
Nidalee is constantly quoted as having the best laning phase and dueling potential in the game. She has many viable builds to suit whatever match up you get. She has high kill potential, safe farming, and high sustain.
