Any tips for 1v2?

I don't know how many times I've had to out do 2 other players in the top lane. It's usually when the other team duo top, and you have jg that won't assist you. I'm not trying to complain about this, but I'd really love some tips about it. My main Top players are: Dr. Mundo and Jayce. If you've played them, would you happen to know what I'm talking about when you're having to battle two players? I usually do OK. I want to be able to do WELL. I have runes, and masteries set up for my level, and even wrote a sheet for Jayce's items. Even if you don't know about these particular champs, you may still have some advice. Don't try to cs unless under tower, always stay within exp range.

Have the mindset: If you can get CS, that is a privilege, but make sure you can CS
Don't die
Freeze near your tower
Ask for help, or get them to apply map pressure elsewhere
Get lots of sustain

Play safe.

Try not to get poked down.

Farm from a distance.

Don't try trading.

Freeze lane right outside turret if possible.

Try chogath. He is a good 1v2 as he can ranged aoe farm and has sustain. Just get item 3010 early.

Here's a tip. Pick this guy: Easiest champion to 1v2 someone R Q W E Q. Done :)

But on a more serious note pick something that doesn't have a hard time farming under turret. Probably the best choices for farming under your own turret are Shen and Nasus. They both have sustain and Nasus scales very well into late game and Shen is the hardest person to dive under tower. And Shen runs on energy so he can outlast the other two guys as long as he plays safely. With some practice Trundle is a good choice for a 1v2 top lane match up. He's easier to set up ganks with due to his pillar but takes some practice to pull off properly. Urgot is another mentionable choice if you want something with range. His ultimate gives him resistances as well as suppresses the enemy so it deters them from diving you.

Mundo is actually kind of bad for farming under his own tower. His W has a nasty habit of pushing waves. You don't want that in a 1v2 situation. Jayce isn't too bad for CSing but he has no sustain.

Learn the ways of how to CS under tower: 2 hits from tower, 1 hit from you on melee minions means +21 gold. 1 hit from you, 1 hit from tower and 1 more hit from you on caster minions is +18 gold for you. Cannon minions have to much health for there to be a cookie cutter answer for always getting this.

Usually you are not going to get the castor minions without getting poked badly so just leave them alone. Dont make your jungler come and help you. Let him get fat so that the other top laner that is not getting cs falls off hard. Also, it is ok if you lose turret because your team should make up for it with the jungler getting free reign of the whole map

You need to have very good ranged clear and good self peel. Innate sustain is also highly recommended.

Morgana Great ranged clear with W. Good self peel and impossible to dive (2v1 almost always will dive).

Chogath Decent ranged clear but massive CC and self heal during dives.

Lulu Very good self peel and exceptional ranged clear and poke. Lacks sustain/Mana issues.

Lissandra Undivable and some ranged clear ability.

Not recommended: Low range. Low aoe clear. Strong duel potential (they lack 2v1 potential early)

Nasus Aatrox Tryndamere Vayne Swain

Jayce and Mundo are both in the middle somewhere.

Basically don't be aggressive when you're outnumbered.
