Vel koz Builds

Vel does extremely well with magic pen.

My build for him is: , I finish off the build depending on the situation. But I usually see people build:

Magic pen is the way to go.

CDR helps a lot too, maxing that turns him into a poke machine on par with Xerath.

I've found that a helps as well.

Also, this is just a personal preference, but spellvamp isn't a bad choice. His passive procs the full vamp, so he can heal for quite a bit. Granted, because you're Vel'Koz you shouldn't even be touched because of your range, but if a Vi uppercuts you, it's nice to have that little extra healing.
