Banner of Command on siege minion or mage minion?

I would like to get banner of command but im unsure which minion should i use it on for the best result. Mage minion seems to stay behind and last longer but has less damage. Siege minion has increased damage but dies kind of fast because of the range. what do you think?

I'd say that Solari is better.

Since BoC is used in pair with baron for its full effectiveness you want it on the cannon, combined weith baron it will outrange the tower and be invulnerable to magic damage making it very difficult to kill when sieging a tower.
