Nasus top presence

So I started top lane, and I decided to try Nasus, whom I am great as laning phase. I will get at least 100 stacks per back and be able to miss almost no cs up to 20 minutes, at which point I have at least 500 stacks. Obviously, this means I am very strong, but I tend to lose games. I don't mean to blame my team, but they fight 4v5 when I'm backing, and will jungle farm when I try to farm or push. I'm not great at team fighting, though I will be the main reason why we win them, but I'm still useless. If I try to be useful, I'll fall behind on Q stacks, and if I spend decent time farming, my team loses. Does anyone know how to be efficient at roaming and stacking, so that my team doesn't just lose, but I don't fall behind, because I'm clearly doing something wrong. Also, what should my stacking goal be by 30-40 minutes?

Nasus isn't a good solo q pick, because you need a strong 4 man teamfight, or at least a team with a lot of disengage. This will give you time to get stacks, and splitpush. During this time your team should hold off a 5 man push while you stack and push top. It's a relatively simple concept that people don't understand.

if you are saying your getting more than 300 stacks/not being harrassed to slow your farm, than there is no reason you should be losing your games playing as nasus. Take that sheen+spirit visage and start grouping, because i knnow you will have atleast 1 kill and 140+ cs by the time laning phase is over.

You could how ever, teamfight, win the fight have your team push and you tele to a group of minions and farm up. (extends the game)

Learn how to proxy farm effectively.

This is a Garen video, but I think it helps give you the general idea about proxy farming and some general top lane tricks.

500 stacks at 20 minutes, by this point you should check is your team fine? good keep farming is your team not fine? good, you have 500 stacks.. so calm the fk down and help ur team like 5 minutes

A good idea might to get some tips from streamers. Sirhcez only plays singed and nasus so you should be able to learn how to pressure from him.

I'm no expert on Nasus and I'm still new to the game (level 11), but it's all about pressure. Whenever my team fights, I'm most likely not going to be anywhere near them. You'll see me at one of their towers or inhibs just pushing it down. One or two people may come up to stop you, but if you have ult/ghost it's possible to escape or even take them down. Tell your team what you're going to be doing and see if they can keep them busy while you push.

That's sort of how I won most of my games on nasus so far. Just a reminder though, I'm still a new player so my advice may not be the best.

I love playing Nasus (Susan as i call him :P ) and you certainly farm better then I do so kudos there. What i typically do in any lane farming is if I'm pushed and my turret is taken, as long as your lane is not being pushed hard back, I usually roam to help out my teammates. Id you're worried about losing farm, I'd swing with a Teleport and move around the map accordingly that way to help out your team when needed.

Nasus Main is silver (almost gold :P)

farm is everything pre 20 min

one game my lane opponent jayce was beating me in lane till level 6. level 6 i had ~130-140 stacks i just bait him into fighting, run into a bush and pop ult then slow and aa-q-aa and boom. A lane that should be in a players favor in bronze-silver or normal's isnt because I spent time learning how to bait people. The guy did it two times in lane, TWO, before he raged and afk'd. Just play normals and no matter what the match up aim for 150-200 by 10 min and 400+ at 20 min if you only stay top. If you help your team with drag, jungler being invaded, ect then id say 300 by 20 is fine because your still doing good stacking and your team isnt feeding (as much).
