ADC Trying to climb the ranks

I've been a high silver/low gold ADC, since season 3. I havnt played much ranked games since then but I've noticed the same trends within these games. I just finished my placements for this season going 4-6 ending up in silver 3. Half of those losses were due to our team throwing after the 30 min mark. What I've noticed is whenever a team is ahead they begin to think the game is over which is never the case. I do my best to shotcall objectives and all that but I havnt been able to climb out from this elo; which probably means it's where I belong. But I'm looking to improve myself and take advice from fellow adcs and players who were in the same position as myself. What are some good tips for ensuring a higher win rate in these ranked games?

If i would make a list of the top 5 season 5 adcs for season 5 it would be this (i dont main adc my opinion doesnt matter too much)

  1. Ashe, I feel like she is really strong because of her insane kiting potential and ability to 1v1 anybody if you hit your ult when fed.
  2. Vayne, Definately a strong pick right now because lucian and corki nerfs, however still has trouble if you arent a really good vayne.
  3. Twitch, Super strong pick for soloq right now if you know how to play him, he can win lane hard. (unlike vayne) and scales JUST AS HARD.
  4. Graves, One of the only good adc lane bullies right now, he also has a really good burst and wins lane a fk ton.
  5. Jinx, as long as you survive until 6, your basically good. scales super hard, has a lot of 1v1 potential, and is INSANE in teamfights. Like a Vayne with a good lane :P
